ARCHERS one of the seven 1st Job Class in Ragnarok, they are simple ranged attackers. Archers are good in defeating monsters as well players from safe distance because they can attack first before the enemy can do damage. Archers focus in developing their range and accuracy skill or allow multiple strikes continuously. The long range capabilities of bows also allow Archers to "snipe" targets that may not even be able to reach them.
The Archer is the ranged attacker, using bows to deal physical damage while not actually being in melee combat. The only other weapon an Archer can equip is a dagger to save the use of arrow and a bow. The Archer has skills that can be easily used with. The distribution of stat is simple making an Archer train easily resulting in speedy leveling.
Archers can be found at the town of Payon, a Chinese inspired architectural design. The Payon Field has abundant monsters that most of its drops are need in fulfilling the requirements for the quest of becoming an Archer.

[edit] How to become an Archer
Archer Job Quest
You must be a novice at job level 10 in order to start the quest.
Simply talk to the Archer Guildsman (pay_in02 64 71) to signup. She will tell you to collect trunks around Payon.
There are 4 types of trunks, each type will worth different points as stated below. You need to collect at least 25 points to pass the test. You may get this items from the Monster Willow
Fine grained trunks = 5 points
Solid trunks = 3 points
Barren trunks = 2 points
Trunks = 1 points
Force
Once you attain the proper level, you can change from novice to the Archer Class by finding the Job Master located at Prontera (153,193)
