[edit] Back Story
Gunslinger one of the unique characters belong to the Extended Class in Ragnarök. Entrusted with the most dangerous weapons of their time, Gunslingers fire at their enemies with smooth speed and unerring accuracy. These heroic gunmen are firearm specialists that methodically fight their enemies from long distances.
Gunslingers use many different guns to deal damage from the range. They use 5 different types of guns, and those guns come with their own specialties. All guns are two-handed. It is not just easy to change into a gunslinger, it'll be easy leveling. Their skills include a "coin flipping" system which allows the gunslinger to get coins (that appear like a monk's spirit spheres) and exchange those for temporary stat enhancing. Aside from that, there are lots of skills for the gunning part. Some skills can only be used with a certain type of gun, some for all.
Novices that have attained Job Level 10 and spent all of their Skill Points on Basic Skills are eligible to become Gunslingers. You can begin the Gunslinger Job Change quest by speaking to Master Miller inside one of the buildings in Einbroch. Master Miller will then direct you to "Wise Bull" so that you can obtain his voucher. Once you complete Wise Bull's tasks, Master Miller will change your job to Gunslinger.

[edit] Quest
Talk to Master Miller (Green dot, in front of the entrance) to sign up for the job quest. He will ask you to find another NPC in Payon.
He will ask you to give him some items (listed) and there will be a hidden item he didn't mention. After you give him the items he requested, keep talking to him until he mention that he needed Milk. So, give him a milk then you can go back to the Gunslinger Guide and get the job change finally.

[edit] Stat Advice
Note: This is ONLY an advice for stat build up.
| Stat | Description |
|---|---|
| Str | The primary melee damage stat and a factor in max carrying capacity (weight limit). A generally useless stat for most ranged classes, this is the throwaway area for any odd points you may have. Bullets are twice as heavy as arrows, and those of you carrying pots already know how much another 10 points here and there can help. |
| Agi | A stat governing your attack speed (ASPD) and Flee rate (how often monsters hit you). Gunslingers typically have a VERY high agility score, or a low one simply for the ASPD increases. This class has skills that temporarily increase or decrease the Flee rate, decide whether they are part of your playing style as you plan out your agility. |
| Vit | Useful for building your maxHP and increasing the HP healed per potion used. Each vitality point is about 1% more maxHP than the base value a class has, and 2% more healing from potions. Additionally, every 5th point of vitality increases the natural HP regen rate by 1. Gunslingers have a bit less HP than Hunters at high levels (that would mean LOW), so plan accordingly. Recommended values are multiples of 5. |
| Int | The primary damage stat of caster classes, intelligence also determines a player's maxSP and SP regen rates. Minimum and maximum Matk damage increase at different values (7 and 4 respectively), but only one Gunslinger skill utilizes this function. More important are the effects on SP, as active Gunslinger skills are HIGHLY SP intensive. Pistoleers and Shotgunners in particular should note that their skills require about the same SP as most Wizard and Mage skills. SP regen increases by every 6th point, so there's your recommended multiple. |
| Dex | The primary damage stat of all ranged classes, and a factor of your HIT (accuracy) rate. You want this high. Remember, a damage bonus applies for every multiple of 10 you reach (ie. 40, 60, 83+7, 94+16). |
| Luk | An off stat that increases Crit rates, Perfect Dodge rates, and item creation rates, many non-merchantish characters who do NOT revolve around critical attacks tend to ignore this. Gunslingers with high agility sometimes consider this stat to augment their attacks. Crit improves by 3 and PDodge by 1 for every 10 luck. Multiples of 10 are recommended. |
