[edit] Why do I need to Level?
Leveling is your second main goal here. You need it to become stronger, fight with people and also to protect yourself, others if you ever want too. The Max level in Force is (255/100) and if your character was a baby then your max level would be (255/70). How do you know if you level up? there would be a sign that says " LVL UP!/LEVEL UP! " top of your head and a sign like an angel. You can also add status(Str, Agi, Vit, Int, Dex, and Luk)Depends whatever is your job, you must know your job main goal is it one of the 5 status given. Most of all melee attack job adds Str. Leveling makes you kill mobs/monster easier. Adding specific Status also makes you level faster and don't forget that equips/items you use makes it easier for you to level also. Let's talk about The Job level. The max job level is 100 for baby is 70. Job level is where you get your specific skills that other jobs don't have. To know more about Job level go in section Skills.
[edit] What can I get if I Level my character?
You can get some Stats points, Skills points. Status points allow you to add (Str, Agi, Vit, Int, Dex, Luk) learn more in Stats section. Skill points will be given by you when you level up, it allows you to unlock new skills and strengthen skills some skills may not be complete. And also gain additional HP and SP when you change your job to first job class, second job class, or transcendent second job class. You will need to max your job first to be able to change job and continue to level up your character.
Note* If you are in your 1st Job class it is much easier for you to level up faster!
[edit] How do I level?
How do you level in an easy way, In order to level you need to earn Experience Points which will be given to you by killing monster. Experience Points give you points that you can add with the status (Str, Agi, Vit, Int, Dex, and Luk ). Every monster has a maximum experience rate, if your level is too high for the monster the Exp(experience points) you will gain will be reduced. To know the certain leveling place go in section Leveling guide to make it easier for you to gain Exp. And Level up faster!
Here are the Commands that is help full for you to make it easy to level up faster. /nc - meaning ("no ctrl command"). The command that goes for everyone, it allows you to attack a monster and player "without" holding your left mouse button or CTRL button for continuous attacking. /ns - or ("no shift command"), this command allows a player to automatically cast or use skills to a particular monster/player without holding the shift button. This is usually used by Acolytes/Priests, it allows you to use Heal on Undead properties which does damage on them. It can also used to players so you don't have to be confused who will you attack, monsters or players too.

So what is Newbie guide? Newbie another word for (new begginers), This is just a Simple Guide for the new players in either Pie or Force. Newbie guide would be pretty much like this. Make an account(please be sure what server your willing to play Pie which is the Low rate (100/70)other customs and Force which will be the High Rate Max lvl is (255/100) and other customs.After deciding what Server your going to play Log-in your character in Dark-RO, and follow along with the guides on (how to level, how to make character,etc...) you will find this in here also. You will also be tested inside Dark-RO before you can actually play and continue your adventure the questions are easy if you think logically.There is also command @rcs [question] if your lost or you could visit Dark-ro/forums. [edit] What do I need to enter the world of Dark-ro?
So what do you need to enter the world of Dark-RO? First of all you must have install the game which can be view at Installation and make sure it works perfectly fine. The second thing to do is to register at Dark-ro.net to have an account. And it goes to Character Making. Also make sure that you have read the policy and rules of Dark-RO otherwise you may not know how things work in Dark-RO. Don't forget to Update your Dark-RO to play even better, Don't forget to visit Dark-RO forums to know the Updates in Dark-RO. This are the things you need to have and know to enter the world of Dark-RO.
[edit] First make your character
Making a character might be hard for new beginners(Newbie for short) since there are varieties of characters to choose from. You must choose a game name that you like and especially it looks well when it goes with your character/job. Think of a name first because you will always get disconnected prior to exceeding more than 10 seconds in the log-in state, also think of multiple names/name designs to suit your taste. Don't use names that are inappropriate, used for offending, slur ,racial discrimination, impersonation and abide by dark-RO rules. Inappropriate usage of names can lead to character deletion as of punishment.
You must know what job your going to pick and usually STR= Strength, INT= Intelligence, DEX= Dexterity, VIT= Vitality and LUK= Luck (LUK does not mean Lucky at all it deals with Critical). Status usually depend on what character you choose, be it a Swordsman corresponds to STR, Archer to DEX, Mage to INT, but this doesn't stop you from creating your own unique build and turning it into a hybrid. There are several jobs to pick, you start from novice which you have to level it first(try looking in leveling areas to make it more easier for you to level), then you get to choose what job your going to get, all of the job is good there's no job that is not useful nor weak or strong they are all the same. As being new in Dark-RO most newbie get Zeny (money in Ragnarok) by selling things (Ex: Loots from monster you killed) With Zeny you can buy weapons, armors, etc.. and level up even faster Don‘t forget that Begging Zeny to other player is against the rule you must work for it. The highest level in Force is 255/100. After your done levelling you can enjoy, and in the future be successful player in Dark-RO.
[edit] Where will I go after i created my character?
Enter your username and your password. You will be on the screen of character selection. Choose your created character wait until it loads the map. On dark-ro you will be warped into a place with a person/NPC on it(Novice Land). Click on him and begin the test. Answer the five questions correctly. After you answer the questions you will be warped into Prontera.The Capital of Rune Midgard. It is the main map of the Server. Walk into the bottom until you reached the portal. You will be warped outside Prontera(prontera field)there are lots of monsters to kill such as Poring,Lunatic and Pupa. Attack them to receive experience points for leveling. When you reach your joblvl to 10. Go back to Prontera and ask the Job Master. Pick what job you want. Then after,warp to pay_dun01 NOTE: in dark-ro you can instantly warp into a map by adding "@"<map name>. Kill monster such as Skeleton,Zombie and etc. When you think the monster in this map is so easy for you. Try going on harder monster by entering a portal. When you reached joblvl50 go back to prontera and ask again the Job Master to change your job into 2nd class. When your already done find a place where to grind experience by clicking this. Leveling Areas this one can help you. Grind Experience to be able to get baselvl 99 and go back to Job Master request for a transcend class. Grind Experience until you reach the max baselvl 255 and Joblvl 100.
[edit] How can I be strong?
Most of the people say that its all in the equipments you use(techniques), how do you get equipments? First of all you must have enough Zenies to buy things that are important ex: weapons ,armors, garments etc...Those are things you need to become strong also don't forget that cards, status effects, master elements for you to be stronger you must know what cards are useful and what cards are not useful when it deals with fighting. There are many ways to obtain Zenies, Hunt Poison Bottle ,Looting Daggers from petite dragon and sell them in NPC, do quests and also crafting and refining items bring extra cash. Don't forget that EDP(Poison Bottle) People Buy them in a Price of 7 credits or more remember don't Overprice it or else no one will buy it. Your Stats also affect you from being strong if you don't have the right stats for your specific job it will not work as good as others. Always know what is the good stats or what stats work well with your character .Practice with you character experimenting with your stats will make a difference and you will improve, Being strong doesn’t mean you can control everything, it means showing what you have learned and showing your abilities in adapting and changing to grow even stronger!
If you are going to PVP( Player vs. Player ) or Joining the War of Emperium (WOE) you must have certain things Ex: Healing (Yggdrasil seed, Yggdrasil Berry, White potions, Blue potions, and Box of Thunder.) White potions and Blue potions can be bought by NPC in the mall. While Ygg seed and Ygg berry and Box of Thunder could be hunted or bought by Zenies or Credits (another way of converting Zenies to Credits). And equipments counts too, you can also have some of the rare items/equipments by donating or buying them in Zenies(Most people prefer Credits than Zeny because it is easier to hold) so be sure that you have done the Credit Quest before turning Zenyies to credit also remember that you can only hold 2,000,000,000 or 2B no more no less or else it will just disappear. That's why converting your Zeny to Credits is important you can hold Maximum of 30000 Credits an character while Zeny the maximum is 2b.
Note: Limited amount of items allowed is up to 30k/30000 pieces. (You can put it on your own storage by typing @storage(it is also useful to Lock your account to avoid hackings.) And also never be to much of yourself when you are strong remember that you had been in their place once in you life time game and respect everyone else)

How do you find friends in an easy way. First don't be sad if people ignores you, there's more out there. Most players hang out is in Prontera the Capital City in Dark-RO(@go 0/@go prontera) or you can explore the map of Ragnarok just type @go and it will show you most of the towns maps except when you see @go 24 and @go 15 its a PVP place or you can simply type *@pk/playerkill off) that's not a place for players to hang out. It is special to gain trust and friendship, another way to make friends is to join " Guild " and help one another. Don't forget your manners, respect everyone as you respect your self and you will make a bunch of friends that you will treasure the most. Another good way is to call your friend in real life and let them join Dark -RO too so you and with your friends can explore Dark-RO together. Don't forget to visit Forums often there is also many players there to know and to play with.
